Typically when you book an appointment at a salon, you need to contact a receptionist. We have taken out the middleman to provide you with a more personalized service.
We exclusively focus on all things hair and have stylists to fit all of your needs. From modern balayage techniques, long dreamy extensions, edgy razored shags to men's grooming and everything in between.
You can’t miss us in the Firehouse Center! We are at the crest of the hill on Avenue A, smack dab between 1st and 2nd street.
Is there parking? We have a handful of parking spaces right in front of the building. If those spots are unavailable you can find an abundance of parking all around the salon, even on 2nd street.
Each stylist has a list of their specific service offerings and can be contacted individually under the “Stylist” page to gather a more accurate plan for your budget.
Our Hours of Operation vary Tuesday-Saturday. We are closed Sundays and Mondays for stylist education and salon maintenance.
We book by appointment only. Each stylist schedules their own appointments and creates their own schedule. Although we schedule by appointment only, on occasion we are able to accommodate walk in appointments. It is always best to schedule an appointment ahead of time to ensure you are able to be seen by your chosen stylist.
Under the “Stylist” page, you will see a list of our team along with a photo, area of specialty, and a link to their Instagram accounts to view their work. You will also find their communication preference. Simply email your stylist directly or book online to schedule your preferred service, day and time.
We definitely have a different business model than most salons. We do not have a central phone number. Everything you need to know, you can find here on our website. We understand this is a different approach and appreciate your understanding and willingness to help our salon and businesses grow.
Here are a few frequently asked questions to help guide you in the right direction:
Flaxen + Ash guarantees the satisfaction of all products. Should a product not meet your expectations, we will exchange that product for another of equal value. Must be returned within 7 days in like new condition. No refunds will be given.
Please cancel or reschedule your appointment 48 hours prior to your scheduled service to avoid a 50% charge of total service price. A credit card will be required to reserve your appointment. Late appointment arrival, 15 minutes or later may be subject to cancellation.
Each stylist is an independent business owner and guarantees your satisfaction for 7 days after the date of service. If you are unsatisfied with the results, your stylist would like to take the opportunity to see you for a complimentary correction appointment. Please contact your stylist directly. No refunds will be given.
