Starting her career in the late 90’s, Ashley had always loved the design aspect of hair and fashion, so this was the perfect fit. After completing the intense Gene Juarez Advanced Training program and working in their Bellevue salon and spa for 5 years as a designer, she decided to transition to an exclusive Wella and Bumble boutique salon.
Ashley then went on to train in New York at Bumble & Bumble University and Wella Studios. She specializes in anything from edgy to soft and femine cuts, effortless styling and also loves what her color application can do to bring out the dimension and texture of a new style.

Jenny attended Gene Juarez Academy in 1996. She then completed a year long apprenticeship at the Gary Manuel Salon in Seattle. Two years later, she had the opportunity to train with Vidal Sassoon's Master Stylist, Ron Matarazzo and Head Colorist, Lorane Matarazzo. Her passion for hair took her to New York to train at Bumble and Bumble University, Wella Studios and with Nick Arrojo, of TLC's What Not To Wear. Jenny loves to create a whole new look for her clients, but she also believes even the smallest change can be amazing! In her off time, Jenny enjoys being with her family and finding inspiration through fashion, food and music.

Estelle’s journey began in 2015 after successfully completing her training with the Toni & Guy Academy located in the Greater Seattle area. Estelle loves continuously evolving her craft by attending classes allowing her to gain more knowledge from other hair professionals.
She loves taking traditional color placements and being able to add a personal touch to make her client’s hair look unique with a soft approach. Her passion for hair stems from the utmost joy she feels when she can help bring a client’s hair idea to life! Her areas of expertise include: money piece blondes, lived in hair, and creative color. Outside of hair, she loves hanging out with friends, family, experiencing nature, and karaoke nights!

After finishing her training in 2020, Hannah has spent a lot of her time investing in education and growth in the hair industry to be able to provide a specialized service to each of her guests.
Her favorite thing about this industry is creating not only beautiful hair, but seeing her clients appreciative smiles when it’s finally done! She specializes in blonding, favoring lived in blondes. Hannah is certified in “vanish weft” extensions which has taken on a whole new exciting route in her career!
Outside of work She loves spending time with family, friends and traveling. Oh, and don’t forget about her sweet, little fur babies!

Lisa is a talented artist and stylist. Throughout her 15 years of experience, her skills have been honed through working alongside other amazing artists and through attending various trainings put on by top industry leaders including: Chanel, Oribe, Bumble n Bumble, Aveda and more. Lisa has been all over the beauty industry as a makeup artist, colorist and wedding stylist. Most recently she has focused on her passion for cutting techniques from razor shaping to precision cutting. She is also trained in and enjoys balayage and natural color techniques. Hi friends, I’m Ashley Newbury! I’m not only the Founder of Flaxen + Ash, but a highly educated stylist with years of technical training under my belt. I began my salon ownership journey back in 2010 opening the well known Winslow Salon in downtown Kirkland WA.
Shifting gears and my vision this past year, I was craving a more intimate, one on one craft hairdressing experience in a smaller luxury space. It was time to move out a little deeper into more of a “community” atmosphere…. Historical downtown Snohomish was just the answer and bonus it’s also my hometown! I felt like I was home the second I laid eyes on the historic Firehouse Center. No one can miss the beautiful relic that stands tall at the peak of Avenue A.
